Short Courses
Let's face it - having the time and wherewithal to take a fulltime two-year course is not everyone's cup of tea. From time to time the Centre for Science Communication will be offering short specialized courses. These should appeal to those of you that just require a bit of expert knowledge in some area of communication, or those of you that cannot spare the time for a longer programme, or maybe someone wanting to prepare for our MSciComm.
Courses will be offered at two off-campus locations and may include live-in accommodation:
The Wanaka Centre
The Centre for Science Communication in association with the Mount Aspiring College Foundation will be offering short courses in Wanaka, starting in 2008.
One such course to be offered in 2008 will be on Writing Scripts for Films. More information about this and other courses will be posted when available.
