    Ever wondered where all those supplementary vitamins come from? Dietary supplements are used widely internationally and their supply forms a multi-billion dollar industry.  What is the source of all those vitamins? Are they synthetic or extracted from plants? What scientific evidence is there for their effectiveness and do they interfere with conventional medications? There is scope here for a wide range of communication methods, from magazine articles to exhibitions and resources for schools.
