Mark McGuire

Mark McGuire is a Lecturer in the Department of Design Studies at Otago, where he has taught digital media and communication design practice and theory since 1994. For ten years prior to moving to Dunedin in 1993, he operated Mediatrix Inc., a graphic design and consulting company based in Toronto, where he helped several book and magazine publishers to make the transition from analogue to digital production. Mark has studied Fine Art, Architecture, and Information Science and he is currently completing a PhD focusing on the design of 3D online communities.
