Congratulations to former student Braydon Moloney whose film "Pest Free?" has just received the award for ‘Best Environmental Film’ at the 2015 New Zealand Mountain Film Festival. The film, which follows a group of passionate DOC rangers into New Zealand’s most remote native forests, tells the story of the ongoing battle to save our national treasures from the scourge of introduced pests. It was completed as part of his MSc in Science Communication.

New Zealand Mountain Film Festival, started in 2002, is internationally recognised as one of the world’s premier environmental film festival events.
