What distinguishes our courses from others in Science Communication is our emphasis on walking the talk, our insistence that students do not produce only academic theses that sit on library shelves, but that they produce creative works that go into the public domain, be it a film, book, website or any other creative endeavour involving the communication of factual information.
The Centre for Science Communication offers the following qualifications in science communication: Master of Science Communication (MSciComm), PhD, Postgraduate Diploma in Natural History Filmmaking and Communication (PGDipNHFC). From time to time it also offers short courses in aspects of science communication.
