What distinguishes our courses from others in Science Communication is our emphasis on walking the talk, our insistence that students do not produce only academic theses that sit on library shelves, but creative works that go into the public domain, be it a film, book, website or any other creative endeavour involving the communication of scientific information.
The Department for Science Communication offers the following qualifications in science communication: PhD, Certificate in Science Communication (unendorsed), Postgraduate Diploma in Science Communication, and Masters in Science Communication. From time to time it also offers short courses in aspects of science communication.
